Originally published in Belgium over 20 years ago under its Flemish name "Boerke" by Nanuq.be, Dickie is well known for pushing boundaries and challenging traditional comic norms. Pieter de Poortere's storytelling skills and creative genius have earned Dickie a devoted following and critical acclaim. Now this wonderful humour and pathos can also be enjoyed in silent English! After conquering the world of publishing, Dickie now appears in his own animated series based on the books which aired on Adult Swim in over ten countries and can be found on You Tube.
