Now that Yen, Jin, and Narama have recovered the music and found the sacred tree, Jin remembers that the reason he was there to begin with was to tell Narama that his grandmother collapsed! Back in Tatsunami, Ayato’s school is having a Hyakunin Isshu tournament. Due to the likelihood of a certain dangerous Maga appearing at the event, Yen and Jin are asked to participate. In order to defeat the Maga, they have to be able to beat the Hyakunin Isshu champion first, and Yen demonstrates to Jin just how close to impossible that will be!
