Caught in an avalanche, buried in snow and unconscious, Uchimura is rescued by the two demihumans Kloos and Geim, who bring him to Azack, a mining village in the Old Sylvanian Territory. When Uchimura regains consciousness, Kloos is impressed by his unique perspective and personality, and seeks his help to tackle a big challenge facing Sylvania: “Uchimura!
